CATARINA RAMOS

My name is Catarina Ramos and I am a 23-year-old dancer and dance teacher from Helsinki. I started dancing at the age of 2,5 and have since then specialized in many different dance styles, such as jazz, show, street, reggaeton, heels, commercial and ballet.

I am currently studying dance pedagogy at Savonia University of Applied Sciences, majoring in jazz dance and ballet. I will graduate in 2025.

 

I have worked as a dance teacher since 2018 and I teach children to adults. As a teacher, I strive to be approachable and energetic, and I want to create a safe atmosphere in classes where everyone can be themselves.

  

I have done my first choreography as a 10 years old by doing choreography for a children's birthday party. I have also been a choreographer in a music video. I am currently working as a  head teacher of a Commercial competition group.

As a performer, I regularly participate in various productions, e.g. as Robin's background dancer in 2016 and as an assistant in the Salatut elämat television series.
